Coblence Studio

Office, New York 2005

Main issue for this project was to get the entrance and secretary areas a natural lighting though they were not directely located on the facade.

All the walls confining this area are built with a glass frame through the whole top area so to not loose the privacy of the offices on the other side. A long red wall, 2.5 meters high, divides the secrtery area from the archives becomes an exhibition wall for a collection of drawings.

The use of the color is always the same but each time with a different color tone keeps a fluidity between spaces. A punctual lighting emphasises the artwork exposed.
