16eme Paris

Appartment, Paris 2014

100 m2 apartment in the 16th arrondissement built in the 60's that needed to be fully renovated and required an extra bedroom with a bathroom.

The rooms are organised around a central band that contains the kitchen, walking closets and manage the circulation between the different areas. This band is also defined and outlined through a red color paint on the walls and a dark grey stoneware, while the rest remains all in light colours, walls and flooring.

The kitchen at the center of the band is the fulcrum of the entire apartment system, separates the entrance to the living-room and generates the access to the bedrooms located between the linving-room and opposite one to each other.
